One look at what has been happening in the world today, from the violence to the natural disasters, stress and unrest and it is hard to argue that we are not living towards the end. The phrase has essentially become a cliché with how much it has been used but it is as true today as it was when it was first declared. It has long since been time brothers and sisters. The evidence that this world is nearing its end is piling up at a rate that even the staunchest atheist must wonder if something else is at play. We need to take the time to make sure we are living lives in harmony with God’s will first and foremost but also that we are not just living to ourselves or caught up in all that is happening around us but doing the work that He has called us for. We must be vigilant with our time, earnest in study not to just gain a knowledge of what the Bible says but transformational study. Studying/reading with the intent of making changes in accordance with the things we learn. To walk in the light that has been revealed to us. Spreading the three angels’ message and using the gifts that the Lord has given us. Those of us who are blessed with the gift of singing, sing to the Lord. Those who have been blessed with the gift of proclamation, proclaim the Word! All in all, brothers and sisters, as the end draws near, let us stay our minds on the things of the Lord.
